DeadHead Rum dark appearance, aroma of molasses, coffee, cola, chocolate, hazelnut, nutmeg, cinnamon, Jamaica pepper, they are transmitted together on the palate in a subtle manner with notes of anise and caramel, resulting in a perfect balance. Delicious end with explosion of aromas and flavours, ideal for use in classic cocktails or Tiki.

Dead Head 10 Year Old Rum is produced in a limited edition without the addition of sugar, flavor or color. After distillation, it is left to rest in selected oak barrels for 10 years. After bottling, each bottle is hand numbered and personally signed by the master distiller.
On the palate it is rich, intense and full-bodied, with cane sugar in the foreground, followed by notes of tobacco. The finish is rich and medium dry with oak, vanilla and leather.

Description

On the Caribbean coast is the state of Veracruz, known for its deep caves, high mountains, abundant rainfall and its sugarcane plantations. Famous for its sugar Veracruz is recognized with the cradle of high quality rum in the US, due to its proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and its warm trade winds, make it a privileged place for aging Deadhead Ron.

The beginning with the purest waters of glaciers, removing foreign materials, neutralizing the impurities and treating the water by reverse osmosis, we dilute the molasses to prepare the fermentation of the rum. The sugarcane juice is fermented slowly and we double distill in our stills, removing the impurities, to give a clean finish, with an unusual texture and a pure aroma. Meticulously designed to achieve the perfect balance and complexity, only the heart of the second distillation is what we use our aging in barrels. By means of the Solera method with aged barrels in cognac, whiskey, Jerez, Bordeaux and Oporto they do their work to give rise to a luxury rum with a gold color, ready to soften the spirit.

It is called unusual rum, Deadhead Ron is distilled in small batches and is aged for 6 years in oak barrels. It is bottled by hand with supreme attention to detail.

Its bottle of the most original, simulates a Tsantsa trophy (reduced head). According to their beliefs, everyone who has a Tsantsa, acquires supernatural powers and is safe from evil spirits.
