A passionate whiskey lover and experienced brewer, Mr. Ken Usami, who also founded the craft brewery called Niigata Beer 20 years ago in the same city lives in the distillery. As an innovator, Mr. Usami was the first brewer to apply SECONDARY BOTTLE AGING AND FERMENTATION on Niigata beer.
Mr. Usami’s dream is to create a local whiskey distillery that can showcase the quality of local pure water and serve the passionate community of spirits lovers in the world, making the best distillates.
Finally, in 2017, Mr. Usami obtained the first whiskey license for Niigata.
And so he begins his journey of becoming a distiller, the awards are endorsing the quality of his productions. The distillery is constantly under construction, Mr. Usami wants to experiment with mixing WHISKEYS FROM THE WORLD to create the unique flavors of Japan.
