Exceptionally hand crafted by the oldest distiller in Okinawa, this special vintage whisky is made from best quality Indica rice and unique Okinawa’s black koji, and then reserved in Spanish Sherry casks for more than 12 years.
Non-chill filtered; non-coloured.
The natural honey and sherry aroma of this whisky makes it a delightful sip.
Dominant sherry notes with a nice mix of molasses and corn syrup. Strong f ruity flavours with a bit of balsamic vinegar and a hint of sweetness like rum mousse.
A long aftertaste, first comes with bitterness, then later brings out a touch of enduring sweet surrender, which reminds of a lovely combination of cognac and rum.
A well-balanced expression of a unique whisky of its kind.
