Description
Applying the same skills, techniques and philosophy used for our “Signature Range” whiskeys, the Compass Box family offers a style within the world of blending that did not previously exist. It’s an irresistible new alternative for both keen malt eaters and beginners alike. We call them artisan whiskeys.
This family of products recreates whiskeys from the 18th century when blends were, precisely, expressions of the art of “making whiskey”.
Great King Street Glasgow Blend 43% vol. by Compass Box is a Scottish blend with more body and more pronounced notes than Artist’s Blend, uses Lowland grain whiskeys (33%) and Islay, Highland and Speyside single malts (66%) and is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and sherry. In Glasgow Blend, fruity notes appear from sherry casks wrapped in smoke.

Nose: Intense and smoky, with the classic notes of sherry.
Mouth: With presence, complex and smoky, notes of sherry and baked spices.
