Artist Collective Miltonduff 9 Years 2009

    99.95

This single malt whiskey comes from Miltonduff in Scotland. To be more precise, the whiskey comes from Speyside. In reality, Speyside would be part of the Highlands.

But with their delicate and elegantly floral style, the distilleries along the River Spey have distinguished themselves to such an extent that Speyside is run as a separate whiskey region.

AND THIS IS HOW WHISKEY GETS ITS GOOD TASTE

The whiskey made from barley malt. The Miltonduff is not smoked. The whiskey was bottled at a relatively smooth 43.0% ABV. This ensures the smooth character of this drop. Here you can find round notes of vanilla and sweet aromas of caramel. Here there was no help. The color was obtained through aging in barrels.

2009 was an excellent good vintage. Therefore, the maturation period was only 9 years. This makes the whiskey seem a bit heady. A few more years might have done him good. This whiskey does not come directly from Miltonduff but was released by the independent bottler Signatory. Here's Signatory's answer to what makes a good Miltonduff.

Artist Collective Caol ila 10 Years 2010

    229.95

This Caol Ila is a single malt whiskey from Scotland.

Caol Ila is located in Islay. Part of the Inner Hebrides, the island is known for its oily, sea-flavoured whiskeys.

    HOW TO MAKE THIS WHISKEY

The whiskey was made from malted barley. The Caol Ila is full of smoke 48% Vol. give the whiskey its power.

The whiskey gets dark raisins and fine spices from the sherry cask. This whiskey shows an original color, because no help was given here, no colorants were added to it, nor was it filtered: the intense color was produced naturally through barrel aging.

Another point where you can determine the quality of this whiskey: if cold filtration was not used, as here. As you can see here, 2010 was a good vintage.

The maturation period was a solid 10 years. It is thanks to the long contact with the wood that the Caol Ila has such complex aromas. This Caol Ila does not come directly from the owner, but was selected and bottled by the Artist Collective for collectors with a unique style. This is your chance to explore a new and exclusive Caol Ila.

Artist Collective Benrinnes 11 Years 2010

    229.95

This Benrinnes is a single malt whiskey from Scotland. To be more precise, the whiskey comes from Speyside.

By the way, Speyside also has the highest density of distilleries in Scotland.

AND THIS IS HOW WHISKEY GETS ITS GOOD TASTE

Whiskey is made from malted barley. The Benrinnes is a whiskey that is not smoked. The whiskey was bottled at a strong 48% ABV.

This is how aromas unfold their full potential. It obtains notes of black fruits, intense aromas of spices and sour oak tones from the sherry barrel.

No caramel added. The great color came naturally. Another point at which the quality of a whiskey can be determined: if cold filtration was not used, as here.

The distillery had an excellent production in 2010, this bottling is vintage. Therefore, the maturation period was a solid 11 years. This gave the whiskey enough time to develop a diverse aroma. This whiskey was not bottled by Benrinnes itself, but by the independent bottler Artist Collective. Discover the exclusive interpretation of a good Benrinnes, rather an excellent Benrinnes.

Artist Collective Auchentoshan 13 Years 2007

    229.95

When we discovered this distilled version for the first time in 2007, an experience arose, its smoothness already reflecting the exquisite refining in sherry barrels, which suits this emblematic single malt from the Tierras Bajas region like a glove.

Better still, its highly nuanced and wonderfully fruity flavor and aroma palette is enriched with gourmet and spicy notes, as well as gorgeous autumnal nuances that further enhance its deeply malty character. Over the years, not only has it become an exceptional distillate, but it has also deeply developed those different notes that it gave us in 2007 when we chose the barrel.

    TASTING NOTE
Mahogany color. Nose: fine, smooth. Revealing a very pleasant rancid fruity (apricot, orange, tangerine), slightly burnt and waxy, the first nose evolves on intense notes of black fruits (blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant, cherry). After aeration, malted barley occupies the background of the aromatic palette. Gradually, superb notes of caramel, pastry (Paris-Brest) and dried fruit (figs, dates) take center stage.

Mouth: both alive and balanced. The perfect synthesis of the aromatic palette, the attack on the palate is marked by notes of apricot, salted butter caramel, crushed malted barley and precious woods. On the mid palate, flavors of prunes, roasted walnuts, dark chocolate, licorice and dried leaves spread autumnal tones to the most beautiful effect. This is further accentuated by an aftertaste made up of new dried fruit (chestnut, chestnut).

Overall: long, smooth. Gourmet, the beginning of the final invites us to savor a delicious chocolate fondant. Then, sweet spices (cinnamon, ginger) ensure a slender, powdery transition towards a finish marked by woody notes of a beautiful essence (chestnut, oak, walnut). The retronasal evokes a walnut cake and the empty glass exudes aromas of apricot and bitter orange.

Wolfie's: The Whisky with the Soul of Rock 'n' Roll

The Perfect Blend: Sir Rod Stewart and the Passion for Whisky

Wolfie's is a unique whisky brand, co-founded by the legendary Sir Rod Stewart, that combines rich Scottish tradition with a rebellious, rock 'n' roll spirit.
The idea for Wolfie's was born from a friendship forged by a passion for football and long conversations between Rod Stewart and Duncan.
The brand is a tribute to a golden age of rock 'n' roll, where stars lived life without restrictions and with authenticity.
An Exceptional Whisky: Unparalleled Quality and Taste

Wolfie's is produced in collaboration with the prestigious Loch Lomond Distillery, known for its excellence and tradition.
The Loch Lomond Distillery is our long-term partner with whom we work closely to create Wolfie's.
The distillery uses multiple types of stills to produce more than eight different styles of whisky, something lacking in Scotland.
25% single malt content (higher than standard blends, which are around 15%)!
The malts are a blend of different styles from the Loch Lomond distillery.
The high-quality distilled malts contribute flavors of orchard fruits, such as ripe pear and apple, peach, and a citrus character. Smooth, wheat-based.
The blended grain whisky is distilled in Loch Lomond's continuous hot wheat-based mash, which contributes sweet and caramel flavors, complementing the blended malts to create a complete and balanced whisky.
Smooth Peat: 10% of the malt is peated. This contributes to a fuller mouthfeel, with a lingering smokiness and a gentle spice on the finish.
American Oak: All Wolfie's components are aged in American oak barrels, contributing flavors of sweet vanilla, honey, and toffee, making our blend very approachable and versatile. Highland Style: Loch Lomond is a Highland distillery, and Wolfie's has a flavor profile associated with the Highland region.
Aroma: Cooked apple and oaky vanilla notes join a touch of toffee, sweet spices, and soft peat.
Palate: Swirls of cinnamon, vanilla pods, and poached pear lead the way, with notes of syrupy baguette and sweet smoke.
Finish: A touch of tangy marmalade and spicier orchard fruits come together for a final touch, while oak and vanilla linger.
The result is a smooth, balanced, and smoky whisky, perfect for enjoying neat or in cocktails.
More than a Whisky: A Rock 'n' Roll Experience
