These are the strengths of the Kikusui Distillery: Its authenticity and craftsmanship allow it to produce a 100% Japanese rum:
grown, distilled, and aged on-site!
100% local sugarcane.
The sugarcane is produced on the island of Shikoku, the smallest and least populated of the four main islands that make up the Japanese archipelago.
There, sugarcane is grown by hand by local farmers.
This cane is pressed to obtain the pure juice, but it is also heated to obtain sugarcane honey.
A unique distillation style.
Using a rare technique, it is distillation in a stainless steel still, which, unlike copper, rectifies the juice less and preserves more aromatic components.
Barrel Aging
Aging takes place in new American white oak barrels, ensuring the full expression of the raw material while offering a gourmet delicacy.
