Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey is born from the master distiller M.C. Beam was a tireless fighter during the US prohibition law, for the Prohibition of the sale of alcohol (spirits), we imagine that his pure rye whiskey, tasted like the mature elixir that we bottle today. It is aged in Jerez or Sherry Cask barrels, for an unforgettable flavor.
As seventh-generation distillers, we have another favorite hobby: remembering our origins back in 1871, M.C. Beam began his career as a distiller under the supervision of his uncle Jack Beam. In 1883, he was a partner in his own distillery, later moving his son Guy, the grandfather of Steve and Paul Beam, into business.
Minor Case Straight Rye Whiskey is “what could have been” in a bottle, awakening the stills of M.C. Beam.
At the time where they were silenced by Prohibition. “I always felt like it was an incomplete chapter in our book,” says Steve.
