The Drunken Horse Three friends (Benoît, Tom and Pieter-Jan) connect and project a micro-distillery in Belgium, near Antwerp, called Gentlemen’s Craft.
A citrus-oriented gin, with pink grapefruit peel, lime and lemongrass.
It is a citrus gin, super smooth and tasty, but, to get more depth, more flavor, more complexity, on the slopes of the Himalayas, on the Nepalese side, they introduce a pepper that changes the gin, the Timut pepper.
This wonderful pepper has hints of grapefruit, passion fruit, jasmine.
It was the perfect pepper for our gin. We add another 2 peppers and create a gin with 12 botanicals.
Gin with a touch of the Himalayas
The Drunken Horse Gin is a London Dry Gin made in our micro-distillery called Gentlemen’s Craft.
It has 3 waves of flavor.
First wave: citrus
Made from the freshly peeled zest of grapefruit, lime and lemongrass.
Second wave: Earth
A soft sensation in the center of the tongue thanks to cardamom and coriander.
Third wave: Spicy
The third wave is spicy thanks to the collection of 3 peppers of which the timut pepper from Nepal is the most outspoken.
Since this rare pepper has citrus notes, the third wave will take you back to the first citrus wave.
The elegance of this distillate, available to the most exquisite palates in the world, an appreciable experience in the best Michelin restaurants in Europe.
