Ron Carupano was founded in Venezuela, on the Macarapana Valley farm by the Spanish captain Félix del Fierro, in 1762.
Carupano Ron obtains in 1896 the historical and legal rights over the free use of the waters of the Chuare River from the owners of Hacienda Altamira.
Due to its purity, the water from this river continues to be used to guarantee the quality of the Carúpano Distillery rums.
The Carupano Distillery rums have additional magic. And it is that its creation depends on the only Rum Master in the country, Carmen López de Bastidas, who has been developing the profiles of the unique products of Carúpano Distillery for almost 30 years.
In his own words, being a master rum maker means “having the capacity, the taste and olfactory sensitivity, as well as the dedication to know how to mix different types of rums with different vintages to create high quality products”.
Our ability to produce a wide and deep assortment of distillates is also due to more than 250 years of rum tradition, history and mastery, which has allowed us to produce in a standardized and parallel way, distillates with different degrees of differentiation in the same category and in different categories from each other.
Our techniques and experience have allowed us to identify subtle differences between products that appeal to even the most demanding palates.
In addition, we combine that specialty with sensory evaluations and consumer knowledge to offer attractive brands, in intriguing bottles with authentic product quality.
